One Tree Hill -Why Does Deb Always Blame Dan for Her Drug Addiction and Then Try to Kill Him?

Question by Pinky: One Tree Hill -why does Deb always blame Dan for her drug addiction and then try to kill him?
I haven’t seen ALL of the old episodes, but I have seen a bunch, and all I know is Deb starts getting addicted to a bunch of pills and then blame Dan. And I know Dan’s no angel (he killed Keith and wasn’t exactly the nicest dad either), but you are responsible for your own decisions, and it seems like if Deb hadn’t slept with Keith and then tried to kill Dan, Keith would still be alive.
It’s like what dan said, he pulled the trigger, but Deb loaded the gun.

In addition, why did she sleep with Keith? If anything, she seems like the one who would be harder to take in the relationship.

She slept with keith because dan made her feel like crap as a spouse. She needed someone that cared about her, and if i remember correctly, they were both slightly intoxicated, no? Also, she is on drugs, which set off her emotions. She blames the drugs on dan because she doesn’t want to face her problems as her own, but another person’s. keep watching, they are amazing!
