I need to speak with someone who KNOWS and understands what the wife of a addict (crack and alcohol) is going through. I am in Richmond, Indiana.

There should be a contact number for “AL ANON” in your phone book. I highly recommend going to whatever length you have to to get in touch with them. It is a fantastic organization for people exactly like you. There are no dues or fees. About any professional councilor or mental health provider would bring up Al anon as a first recommendation. They will usually provide you with a person you feel comfortable with (known as a sponsor) that you can call at any time, day or night.
